Can we talk about this adorable family right here? This past weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Aldie, Virginia to photograph Kelsey & Peter Walsh along with their new addition to the family, sweet Baby Harper. One thing I loved to see was how natural they both were when it came to taking care of her, and for her being only a month old, you'd never know it by the way they both interact with her.

One of the sweetest moments of the evening, was capturing Peter holding Harper. The way this father looked at his daughter and how he was so attentive and caring, was so so special to witness. I know plenty of new fathers who are always nervous about hurting a newborn, but Peter was such a natural and you could tell how much he simply adored her! The moment I saw Kelsey with her, my heart stopped. First off, Kelsey looks like a rockstar from only one month out of having her and she brought forth this energy that was so calm and easy going. It truly set the tone for the evening and she made it hands down, one of my all time favorite family sessions to date!

I feel so incredibly honored to have taken their first "official" family portraits, and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for them next! Thank you Kelsey & Peter for taking time away from Sunday Night Football and letting me capture your adorable family of five (we can't forget the pups!). I wish you both nothing but the best!

Rosé All Day

When your best friend wants to visit you, and you happen to live in wine country...what do you do? You make a day out of it! I'm so incredibly blessed to have a sweet friend like Amy who always puts in the effort to keep our friendship strong, even from living hours apart. Without a doubt, she has consistantly been a friend who I can go weeks/months without seeing, and immediately pick up right where we left off once we get together.

She is so kind, loving, honest, and truly a gem in my life.

Cheers to you!
