How can I possible begin to describe the love I have for these two individuals? How can I put into words what this beautiful girl means to me? How am I supposed to sit here and type out all of the amazing things that Alex has done in my life? The truth is, I'll be here for hours. The truth is, she has been hands down, one of the biggest, most supporting, encouraging people in my path to pursuing photography, and I know my heart will forever be grateful for every single bit of it.

Alex and I grew up going to the same middle school and high school, but didn't get close until after we graduated. We were always in the same social circle of friends, but never took the time to really pursue a one on one friendship...and man do I wish I did. A couple years after graduating high school, Alex and I decided to become roommates in our hometown of Centreville, Virginia. Quickly after moving in with each other, we formed this incredible bond and inseperable friendship. She loved me for who I was, supported me through one of the toughest years of my life, encouraged me in every way a friend should, and she always had my best interest at heart.

We only lived in that sweet apartment for one year, but it was one of the best years of my life. As life happens and we all grow up and start to figure ourselves out, she has always stuck by my side and has been an encouraging soul in my journey to where I am now. It's easy to love someone like that, so it brings me great joy to know that Mike sees what I see. He also supports her love of Disney and good wine, so I know he's a keeper!

Their relationship is so full of adventure and such a joy to watch. Seeing the love that these two share is so special and I have no doubt that he will take care of my girl. We may not live in the same city like we used to, but I know she will always be a huge part of my life, forever. I'm so grateful to have captured just some small moments of their life, but I know their will be bigger moments to capture later on down the road!

Alex and Mike, thank you for always bringing so much laughter and joy to my life! I know your adventure together will be full of happiness, hockey games (GO CAPS), good wine, and great company!

I met Brian about 7 years ago...and WOW thinking about that makes me feel wicked old! Shortly after meeting him, I had the pleasure of meeting his sweet girlfriend Megan! They were so great together and you could tell right off the bat how much they adored each other. I only spend a few moments with Brian, but whenever I did, he was always so nice to me and incredibly personable.

Many years have gone by since the last time I saw them both, and man have our lives changed! Since we've last seen one another, Brian and Megan tied the knot, had a beautiful daughter named Addison, and moved back to Ashburn from Texas (where they first met). It was so great to see these two again and to see how their life has transformed from dating one another, to starting a family! They truly are one of the sweetest couples and they have raised such a doll baby in Addison!

Just an hour before the shoot, the weather was definitely not on our side. It was dark, gloomy, rainy, and a bit windy. I was certain we would have to move the shoot to the next day, but Brian was wanting to do it anyways, regardless of the weather...and thank the good Lord above that we did! As soon as they arrived to the site, the sun came out and all of the clouds just drifted away! It truly was an answered prayer and I am so grateful to have spent the afternoon with them! Wishing you both the very best and I hope it's not another 5 years until we see each other again.
